A Peaceful Death.....

On Monday, 7th July 2008, it was a very sad event. The death that happen to a family's 'man of the house (you can call that as father or husband)' met a peaceful death at 7:30 pm. It was very surprising to know that, after my father got a call from a friend, this friend told us the current happenings. Since my father and I were very close to the 'man of the house's' family for a long time, we decided to pay a visit to the home. We departed at 10pm.

Upon reaching the house, we saw the man lying motionlessly on the bed. The body was already at a rigor mortis state. We saw the family and friends were sadden for the sudden death of this man. Upon the few days before his death, he was actually suffering from cancer of lungs.....however, what both my father and I saw of that man was that he did not seem to have suffered from this pain, but he was just happy. A peaceful death with a smile on his face is not something that always happen in people's death. I guess he saw something before his death was met.

With that, the deceased man's wife will now have to shoulder his burden. I saw that she was holding back all the tears for her husband. This included the children as well. I guess, being strong, and calm was the only thing they could do.

I wonder how it would be like when death approaches. I guess death is inevitable. It is nothing great, nothing special. It is just something that everyone has to go through in reality. Nobody is immortal. No ones perfect. And, this is what only humans have to do when the time has come.

Lastly, my last words for the great man who met a peaceful death is,

..........~Till we meet again~.........

Unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, Po's dreams become reality when he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five--Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey--under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu. But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way, and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat. Can he turn his dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master into reality? Po puts his heart - and his girth - into the task, and the unlikely hero ultimately finds that his greatest weaknesses turn out to be his greatest strengths.

My critics on:

1.The story?
The plot of this movie was common (like any other movie shows; except for useless ones, like CJ7), with comedy and action taking place. Mainly, it has a good grasp of sense, with the flavor of chinese and western features. Somehow, it captured and hold the storyline, which is, having each sections of the story plot linking to one another. I think, if 'The Incredibles' was one of your favourites, this movie is not to be missed.

2. The music?
The music of this movie was dramatic, which suits the entire movie. The sad and happy moments really bring out the climax of this movie. However, I wish that each characters was given a music suited for their characters. There were no motifs, which depicted the characters debut. The only thing which was worth giving applause to, was the sound effects.

3. Overall?
My rating (out of 5), is 3. It was worth the money to watch, not so bad for a comedy and action movie after The Incredibles.

Music within human beings....

What is music to everyone?

To me, what music really is comes deep in the very hearts of the people. People exist for music. People become dependent on music because people need music. Many reasons could be...to seek solace, to ease the strenuous mind, to enjoy the 'beautifulness' of music....whatever that is......'People need music.'

There is joy to music. Sadness, happiness, excited-ness, anger, hate, jealous, love......these make up all of our human emotions. And these, tend to 'rock' people's feelings and emotions.

Music is one part of culture within every, different types of races all over the world, which should not be mixed as a whole or make it similar. However, it should be made as the 'unique-ness' of different races' cultures.

If, this world has no music, it would mean the same as the 'I' as a living human has no soul (no life). You could say that the 'I' is a living piece of meat that has no life. That is why we are humans. And there is joy to being a human, to enjoy what 'human' really is.

In the end, 'Music is created by the people (from generations to generations) for the people. And music has 'life' in it.'

In Sickness and Death

Baby (born), adolescent, teenager, adult, old (towards death) - these are the process of one's human being. I guess, escaping from this fate is not an exception. Being at a young age till adult is the period where in most cases, many common viruses and bacteria are strongly fought, and in the end, cured from the many infections. Towards at the old age, many diseases surface. Some are curable, others are not. Most of the time, the old-aged people will just meet death since the immune system is not strong. I guess, this is a normal thing to go through. And, it is nothing special but the cause of sufferings.

However, there are times when even at the young age till adult, one might suffers an incurable disease. For example, cancer, which might cause the person to either live or die. Even, let's say the cancer was cured, it does not mean that the cancer is completely cured since the person already been infected with this disease. Perhaps, a 50-50 percent chances of surviving.

Seeing many of these 'things' surfacing in my distant relatives, I feel that, even though these always happen in general normal living, there is nothing could be done, but to 'sit there and watch' all the beings closed to you 'wither' and suffer. In time, people meet their true enemy, 'death.'

I guess, the only way is to accept the fact of living. To choose and make one's life the best and to the fullest. Everyday, people fight for their lives to live. Although it is nothing special, from the olden times until now, it has been always the same. Nothing has changed except for science and technologies, and the way how people live (religion and philosophy, etc).

And, life goes on.....

The end of year 2007

It has been awhile since I temporary stop updating my blog. This year has been quite great, and at the same time, a disastrous year. The beginning of the first 6 months, my closest friend went for an operation that forced him to remove his tonsils. I was glad that it was not a fatal disease. I would like to wish him all the best in his singing career with his great voice. Also, at the beginning of this year, we planned to work together to create our very own albums. And, it is still an ongoing process.

Also, I get to go to visit China for my very first time. I'm suppose to write about it. (I will update about that soon).

From July onwards, it was a very tiring time as the subjects studied involved many memorizing works. I could see that my closest friend was having difficulty on memorizing the subjects involved. Nonetheless, both of us helped each other out, and I'm glad he has passed those subjects that were difficult for him. (At least, my hard work did not go to waste). Also, the new entering students of July 2007 were really great students in the sense of musicality in them was born naturally in them.

November 14th, one of my lecturer Dr Ariff, who taught my college mates and I Malaysian Music History passed away. I would like to wish my condolence to his family (especially). He was a great person who carried on his work despite of his illness. I am grateful that I met a wonderful person like him.

And, I wish to congratulate Mr Sze and Eunice on their marriage. May you all be blessed with lots of happiness.

This concludes the year end of 2007.
